To consolidate the 100-year school tradition the practice of holistic education , the School holds "concern", "prominence", "innovation", "vision" as the four major concepts. Aside from the dedicated faculty and the supplementary teaching facilities, she also provides a variety of educational resources and opportunities for the students, so that they can enjoy their learning in an open, diverse and liberal l environment.
The school also offers a flexible evaluation system and a diverse curriculum to adapt to the needs of the students. For example, the credit waiver assessment policy allows advanced students in a certain subject to waive credits. The school also offers second-foreign-language courses, including Japanese, German, French, Spanish, Russian and Latin. The learning of second-foreign language is not limited to the classroom setting. Students have ample opportunities to apply their learning by participating in the student exchange program or joining the tour organized by the school.
A variety of activities and cultural events, such as the series of Red Chamber lectures, are held to further students’ knowledge in different fields.
