• In addition to books in Chinese, an abundance of foreign-language books, periodicals, CDs, CD-ROMs, DVDs and other videos are also available.

• The Digital Library Consortium of General and Vocational High Schools in Taipei City launched a joint procurement in 2004. The Department of Education of Taipei City made an annual budget for the purchase of books and access to various databases, including the Distance Book Services of National Central Library, online encyclopedias, periodicals, news and videos. The administrative staff, faculty and students are able to access the resources with a computer at home.
